Red Wine Cask. 12 months in barrels of French and American oak. Capacity: 75 cl. Matasnos forest is made from grapes used in this wine: Tempranillo and Merlot.
In view appears bright red. Covered, bright and vivo.En nose is scented red fruit, wood, spices, sweet notes. In the mouth it is very marked by ripe fruit.
It is especially recommended for oven lamb, red meats, cheeses, Iberian, red meat …
Matasnos’s farm is located in Peñaranda de Duero, Burgos, 18 kilometers from Aranda de Duero direction Soria, in the highlands of the Ribera de Duero to 950 meters.
This wine region of Spain is not given easily the vineyard from the 1000 m altitude, presenting already at this point many frost problems, difficulty mature and other problems inherent to the weather, so we can say we are almost to the edge of the natural area of development of the vine in the Ribera de Duero.
