Baron de Ley Finca Monasterio is a wine is made from grapes exclusively from the vineyards of our Benedictine Monastery of the sixteenth century in Mendavia (Rioja Baja). 80% Tempranillo and 20% of other varieties. Breeding is 18 months in new French oak barrels and then 6 months in “Foudre” 10,000 liters of French oak, ideal to enhance fruity notes of this wine. Villa Monasterio bottled without being subjected to filtered or stabilized, so may have naturally occurring sediment.
