Petals Bierzo
Petals of the Bierzo is presented as a jovial and fragrant wine that perfectly conveys all the nuances of the region of Bierzo: old vines grown in slate land of rugged and rocky that the best Mencia is extracted. Its 2011 vintage was named by Parker the best wine in Spain in terms of price / quality ratio, and this continues to be presented as a great wine with a surprising freshness with its characteristic mineral touches.
Prepared for 10 months in oak, with Alicante Bouschet varieties, Mencía and white grape. A dense red wine and dark cherry. High intensity nose, with aromas of black fruit liqueur, smoked and roasted notes very powerful. Soft on the palate, caressing, elegant, sweet and mineral palate with medium body and good persistence.
El Bierzo is a unique geographical area characterized by a graben product of the alpine terrain. The climate is continental with Atlantic influence. Lower floors Cambrian period. Slates thick laminar structure located horizontally and obliquely, with quartzite, sandstone and clay.
