Avan Vineyard Torrubio
Made wooden tub and aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels superfine grain. The Secret of Avan Vineyard Torrubio I reside in its own nature, planted in 1943 on a soil in which clay predominates. He was born with its own identity in 2007. Our goal: teach the world a unique product in Ribera de Duero. An old vineyard with its special soil and microclimate gives characteristics that make a difference with everyone else. Neither better nor worse, different and impossible to clone.
Very dark cherry color with purple reflections. Clean and bright, with a dense tear. High aromatic intensity, this new vintage has a complex nose, concentrated, full of nuances. Exhibits an intense fruit load, spicy and exotic spices, floral notes and elegant toasted. This red wine on the palate is robust, with a strong input and a warm way. Final long and persistent. Fruity aftertaste, mineral, spicy and smoky.
