Viñas Viejas House Monroy
Viñas Viejas de la Casa Monroy is barreling long-term post-fermentation maceration with. Alcoholic fermentation and malolactic low temperature conducted under controlled conditions. 12 months aging in French oak barrels of 225 L. Viticulture and Water Regime: rainfed cultivated glasses on sandy, poor and siliceous soils. Lower yields than 2,000 Kg / Ha. Tempranillo Syrah and come from vineyards in espalier.
The varieties used are: 90% Garnacha from our vineyards of over 80 years, 5% Syrah and 5% Tempranillo plot of El Repiso. Climate: Continental Mediterranean under the influence of the basin of the Alberche River and the Central System.
Food pairing: its structure, length and freshness goes well with a variety of dishes and stews: stews, cheeks, oxtail, vegetables, boletus croquettes, grilled meats and cheeses certain intensity.
Serving temperature: 15-16ºC. We recommend decanting about 20min. before serving.
Alcohol content: 15% Vol.
