Tombu Prieto Picudo is a rose wine VT Castilla-Leon, prepared by Dostares domain. The winery is located in San Roman de Bembibre (León). It is 100% made from the variety Prieto weevil atypical Leon variety. The grape comes from very old vines 90 years situated 810m above sea level in Pajares Oteros. The wort fermented for 22 days at a controlled temperature of 14ºC. During the fermentation process whole bunches are added, this is known as the technique of the madreo and is used in some areas of Leon for making rose wine.
