Óbalo Crianza is a red wine from the O.D. La Rioja prepared by the Óbalo cellar. This wine is a varietal Tempranillo.
Grape is born Óbalo Crianza comes from terraced vineyards near the Sierra Cantabria, at an altitude of between 700 and 1000 meters. The age of the vines ranges from 45 to 70 years. They grow two hectares of vineyards and 40 of land controlled by the technical team of the winery.
The soil is chalky and shallow. The climate of the area is ideal for growing grapes: the winters are cold and summers have significant variations between day and night temperatures.
