Aalto PS
Aalto PS (Selected Payments) is the most outstanding wine Aalto, produced only in years when the crop quality is of the highest level. This wine comes from a double selection of grapes from small payments or individual hawthorns. A coastal red wine collector who only offered in 7 or 8 crops in each decade.
Aromas of ripe black fruit, licorice and ink, with elegant mineral notes and spices contributed by the barrel, creating a good harmony. The palate is powerful, structured and soft, round tannins, providing considerable elegance.
Payment Selection chosen from the best vineyards in La Horra, La Aguilera and Fresnillo. Crianza 20 months in new French oak barrels.
Alcoholic fermentation in concrete tanks, wood or stainless steel depending on the vintage. Decanting by gravity. 100% malolactic in new oak barrels.
Alcohol content: 15% vol.
Serving temperature: 16º C.
Pairing: Iberian acorn, aged cheeses, roasted meats, game and stews.
