Marqués de Arviza Selección Especial is a high-expression wine made exclusively from Tempranillo grapes (100%) and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. This follows a meticulous manual harvest, with an initial selection in the vineyard. Once in the winery, the grapes undergo a second selection process to ensure only those in perfect sanitary condition are used.
This wine boasts an attractive garnet hue with subtle violet reflections. Its bouquet reveals delightful aromas of dark fruits, such as blackberries and plums, harmoniously intertwined with spicy notes imparted by oak aging, contributing to a distinguished elegance. Over time, delicate toasted notes emerge. On the palate, it is structured and full-bodied, devoid of sharp edges, completely round, and wrapped in a velvety texture.
It is the perfect companion for refined gastronomic experiences. We recommend pairing this wine with select cuts of beef, such as a succulent steak or ribeye, to highlight its structure and complexity. Additionally, its French oak aging pairs exceptionally well with moderately intense aged cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 17°C and toast to the occasion!
