The climate during the growing season was optimal for the development of the vines. Rains during the first months, more intense until April and lower for the rest of the spring and summer, allowed an exceptional evolution of the vineyard. The oldest plots, emplaced loose and arid soils, underperformed curdled previous years due to high temperatures, resulting bunches with grains smaller and with a good pulp-skin, aspect important to get a fruit of great quality.

Ruby red color, middle layer, with tile edges, typical of the great classics of Rioja. Very intense aroma, fresh, vibrant with fine fruit notes I confit on a balsamic, spicy; leather, coffee and chocolate mint. Good structure, round and sweet tannins elegantly polished in its long aging in barrel and bottle. Big finish that gives a soft and durable finish.
