Gran Reserva Viña Pomal
Pomal Vineyard Gran Reserva is a red wine serious and of great quality that combines the best of La Rioja. It represents the great classic Rioja Reserve, true to its origins for more than a century. Only it produced in exceptional vintages and limited number of bottles. It is a blend of Tempranillo (90%) and a touch of Graciano (10%).
Grape which originates predominantly comes from ground limestone and gravelly type. The soil fertility is low, a fact that makes clusters focus more flavor. Strains grow planted in glass. Follows a conventional winemaking. At the arrival at the winery, the grapes go through processes stemming and crushing before making a long maceration.
Is performed subsequently one malolácica fermentation. Before trasbalsar wine in barrels, several racking and clarification phase are made. Finally, it remains three years in bottle before being enjoyed.
