Description
Cojón de Gato Gewürztraminer
Cojón de Gato Gewürztraminer emerges from the initiative of Vinos Divertidos, a coalition of wineries dedicated to revitalizing and working with endangered Spanish native varieties.
Under the D.O. Somontano, this wine is composed of Gewürztraminer grapes, originally from Alsace and Germany, and French Chardonnay. Although produced in the Aragón region, the combination of these foreign varieties results in an exceptionally high-quality wine.
With an innovative approach to packaging design, they aim to bring freshness and excitement to the experience of enjoying wines that promote fun. Their focus on wines where fruit takes precedence over the influence of wood makes them a choice for bold and experimental consumers willing to embrace innovation and stand out.
Pale yellow with golden highlights, it presents a fresh and luminous appearance in the glass. On the nose, it captivates with a charming bouquet that fuses floral and fruity notes, featuring hints of lychee, rose, and jasmine. On the palate, it offers a vibrant experience with intense tropical fruit flavors and a characteristic spiciness of the Gewürztraminer variety, balanced by a refreshing acidity.
Now, in our online store, you can buy many more Vinos Divertidos without leaving home: Teta de Vaca, Ojo de Liebre, etc.
Bodega Vinos Divertidos
It all started in Somontano, in the beautiful Isábena valley, where we decided to partner with a small winery to produce the first fun wine: Cojón de Gato. Since then, we have traveled across Spain, discovering family wineries and seeking those varieties, characteristics, and feelings to create wines that tell personal stories: Vinos Divertidos.
Today, Vinos Divertidos works with up to 5 Spanish D.O.s to offer the highest possible quality in all its products.
