Juan Gil Plata, formerly known as Juan Gil 12 months, it is a wine that draws attention for its explosive cup fruit load and its palatability. It comes with the typical “sweetness” of Monastrell and with perfectly integrated tannins.
The grapes used for this wine come from old vines. Chalky and stony soils, very poor in nutrients, are ideal for cultivating the variety Monastrell with a yield low of about 2,500 Kg / Ha. Maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 20 to about 25 days at a temperature of 25 ° C Malolactic fermentation and subsequent stay in oak barrels. The wine has been 12 months in French oak barrels.
