Fundacion 1963
This wine is only produced in vintages of outstanding quality, with three years aging in new French oak barrels and bottled back rest of a minimum of 6 months. Foundation 1963 is made entirely with Mencía. Selected vineyards with more than 60 years old, in glass and trellises.
Ruby red high layer. High aromatic intensity. Tertiary aromas that are leaving complexing to opening the wine balsamic, roasted, medicinal, fruit compote. The palate is full-bodied wine with an astringency somewhat elevated that guarantees good longevity. The wood is presented very well assembled with alcohol and acidity. Aftertaste broad and complex, very persistent, balsamic and coffee.
Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
