Gago
Gago is a red wine produced by the winery Telmo Rodriguez in O.D. Bull. Telmo Rodriguez is a wine company that produces wines from different O.D. Spanish (Malaga, Alicante, Rioja, Rueda …). In all areas where the winery produces wine always tries to use local varieties of each region. A single variety of Tinta de Toro from old vines 40 years located in the municipality of Zamora. The vines are grown on hillsides oriented east, at an altitude of 650m on well-drained soils of varying texture and deep gravels.
Its development begins with a manual harvest and transport of grapes into wine boxes. Ferments wine in the cellar with indigenous yeasts at a temperature of 28 ° C in closed stainless steel tanks. Then maceration takes 20 days with the skins.
After the fermentation process Gago passes aged for 14 months in fudres 1500 liters and 225 liter barrels.
Before bottling it is not filtered or clarified.
Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
