Vineyard Pomal 106 Barricas
This limited edition of 106 Barricas Pomal Viña is a tribute to the birth of Viña Pomal in 1908. A selection of 106 barrels by Alejandro Lopez, enologist. An elegant mineral background is complemented with notes of chocolate and fine wood (cedar).
Grape is born comes from a farm which is situated only two kilometers from the cellar, near the passage of the Ebro river in the town of Haro. This facilitates the rapid transport of the grapes to the winery once the harvest. Varieties: 90% Tempranillo, Grenache 5%, 5% Graciano.
Several ecosystems in the farm, depending on the type of soil and sun exposure of each section. For cultivation vide applied partly a traditional viticulture and part precision viticulture. The goal: to obtain the highest quality grapes.
